Mission & Vision

NDCARE helps you understand your body and take proactive steps toward better health. Our goal is to help you feel confident in your health journey for a healthier future.

What are the 8 Laws of Health?

The 8 Laws of Health are guidelines that focus on the basic needs of the body for healing and well-being. These laws were created to reflect a pattern of how Jesus works in us to help recreate us. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Philippians 1:6 says, "Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." While we face challenges that affect our health (mind, body, and spirit), we should trust the process and rely on God as we work together with His plan for us.

Who is the Practitioner?

Celisha Runne Gerber, ND, LAc is a licensed Naturopath in Oregon and an Acupuncturist in Tennessee and Florida. Raised in East Tennessee, she helps people locally and remotely. Since Tennessee limits Naturopathic Medicine, she provides health coaching instead of diagnosing or treating outside her acupuncture practice. Traditional Chinese Medicine, similar to Natural Medicine, focuses on the whole person—physical, mental, and emotional health—using diet, lifestyle advice, acupuncture, acupressure, tuina massage, cupping, and more. She has over 16 years of experience, having been in practice since 2008.

How does Acupuncture work?

Acupuncture uses very thin, sterile needles that are gently placed into the skin. The needles stay in for 15 to 45 minutes, depending on what you need. As you relax, the needles help improve circulation and promote healing. You might even fall asleep during the treatment. At first, you might need more treatments, but over time, they can be spaced out as your body gets better. After each session, you may feel about 20% better, and the relief usually lasts longer with each visit. For newer symptoms, fewer treatments are needed, but for long-term issues, it may take about a month of treatment for each year you’ve had the problem. Acupuncture is used to prevent illness, so regular treatments are often recommended for long-term health.

Do I have to have needles?

Traditional Chinese Medicine uses many tools for healing besides needles; including cupping, gua sha, tuina, Trigger Point Therapy, and ear seeds. We also offer health evaluations using your health history, exams, labs, and genetic testing during an ND Visit. We also offer Zyto BioScans and EVOX Reframing.

Do you take insurance?

To keep prices affordable, we do not work with insurance companies directly. However, if you have acupuncture benefits, you can ask for a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and is between you and your insurance company.

Do you have price options?

- We offer packages to decrease the cost per service (much like buying in bulk for a lower price). - We also offer monthly payment plans for those who want to budget their treatments.

- And for special referrals (request this at the front desk), we offer a Friend 2 Friend discount code that gives you (an established patient) and your friend (a new patient) a discount on services at the time of your friend's visit.

What is a Zyto BioScan?

The Zyto BioScan measures the electrical skin response to find potential weaknesses in organ systems. It provides valuable information that can help guide personalized supplement and treatment plans.

What is EVOX?

EVOX technology measures and sends electrical frequencies to begin helping you change your perception of self-limiting beliefs. By doing this, you open the door to healing and optimizing performance.
